Hey there! 😊👋
Great news — email warm-up is now fully integrated into the Sales Engagement Tool, meaning you can improve your deliverability directly from your Email settings without relying on any external warm-up platforms. Everything is handled inside your account, making the setup faster, simpler, and easier to manage 🚀
In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable warm-up, configure your settings, and explain how the feature helps improve your sender reputation over time.
What is Email Warm-Up?
Email warm-up is the process of gradually building your sender reputation so your emails land in the inbox instead of spam.
The warm-up system automatically creates natural email activity by:
- Sending warm-up emails;
- Receiving replies;
- Creating realistic email engagement;
- Gradually increasing sending volume.
This helps email providers recognize your mailbox as trustworthy and improves your inbox placement over time 📈
Why Use Warm-Up?
Using a mailbox without warming it up properly can hurt deliverability and make outreach less effective.
With the Sales Engagement Tool warm-up, you can:
- Improve sender reputation;
- Increase inbox placement;
- Build sending trust gradually;
- Keep mailbox activity looking natural;
- Prepare new mailboxes for outreach safely.
Enable Warm-Up For Your Email
Click on the three dots menu next to the email account you want to warm up, and click Start warmup.
1. Add Your Email App Password
Before enabling warm-up, you first need to enter the App Password for the email account connected to the Sales Engagement Tool.
This is required so the warm-up system can safely create and manage warm-up email activity for your mailbox.
Depending on your provider, you can generate the App Password from your email account security settings.
You can follow these guides here:
If you're using another email provider, please check your provider’s security or account settings to see how App Passwords are generated and managed.
Once you generate the App Password, simply paste it into the password field and continue configuring your warm-up settings.
2. Enable Email Ramp-Up and set Emails per day
Turn ON the Email ramp-up option to gradually increase your sending volume over time 📈
This helps build sender reputation naturally and safely.
You can also select your preferred ramp-up speed:
- Slow (60 days) – safest option for brand-new domains or mailboxes;
- Normal (30 days) – balanced approach;
- Fast (14 days) – more aggressive increase.
💡 We recommend using Slow or Normal for the best long-term deliverability.
Emails Per Day
Choose the maximum number of warm-up emails sent daily.
We recommend starting with lower numbers and allowing the ramp-up process to gradually increase the volume.
Response Rate
The response rate determines the percentage of warm-up emails that will receive replies.
This creates more natural-looking engagement and helps improve sender trust with email providers.
3. Save Settings
Click Save and the warm-up process will begin automatically ✅
Once enabled, you’ll be able to track:
- Warm-up status;
- Ramp-up mode;
- Daily warm-up emails sent;
- Daily warm-up emails received;
- Overall deliverability.
Pause or Resume Warm-Up
You can pause or resume warm-up at any time directly from the three dots menu.
This gives you full control over mailbox activity whenever needed.
Health Check & Deliverability
Warm-up works together with the Email Health Check feature to help maintain mailbox quality.
The Health Check monitors important email records and configuration issues that may impact deliverability.
You’ll also see a deliverability percentage directly in your Email settings so you can monitor mailbox performance more easily 👀
Once your mailbox is warmed up and healthy, you’re ready to safely scale your outreach campaigns and improve inbox placement 🚀
